Jerusalem Stone Paperweight

Jerusalem Stone Paperweight "Dead Sea Scroll" W106

This paperweight is made of natural stone quarried in the Holy Land.
Into it has been carved a part of Psalms 119:59-64, as found in the
Dead Sea Scrolls, a collection of Hebrew scriptures that date back
2000 years, unearthed in the Qumran Caves near the Dead Sea
between 1947 and 1956. Note YAHWEH’s name in the ancient
Hebrew script, while the rest of the text is in a more modern Hebrew
that was used at the time.

Translated as follows: (NKJW) “I thought of my ways, and turned my
feet to Your testimonies. I made haste and did not delay to keep Your
commandments. The cords of the wicked have bound me, [but] I have
not forgotten Your law. At midnight I will rise to give thanks to You,
because of Your righteous judgments. I [am] a companion of all who feel
You, and of those who keep Your precepts. The earth O'
is full of Your mercy; teach me your statutes”

Measures 10 x 10 cm
